With its completely open architecture, our HMI software allows to create open solutions based on standards thus offering unlimited HMI possibilities. Nevertheless, machine manufacturers don’t have to dispense with the countless configurable system functions. VisiWin is constantly further developed—many VisiWin features originate from the close relationship with our customers. Your requirements and good ideas are always appreciated and, if possible, implemented in VisiWin.
The new VisiWin 7 version 2026-1 is now available for download in the download area of our website.

IDE
The HTML designer has been enhanced with several practical usability features. For example, the most important properties of a control (Favorites) can now be easily edited directly on the selected element via a smart-tag dialog. Working with triggers and actions has also been simplified: they can now be easily duplicated using copy and paste.
In addition, it is now possible to optionally highlight controls that do not have their own visual representation—such as containers—with a border. The properties list has also been redesigned and is now significantly more intuitive to use.
There are also improvements in the Project Explorer: documents can now be easily moved into subfolders via drag and drop.
The cross-reference function has been expanded and also shows differences in variables between the import source (PLC project) and the VisiWin project.
For deploying projects to a target system, an additional option is now available to use a locally saved ZIP archive.
Web UI 7.4
VisiWin Web UI has been expanded to include numerous new controls. These include, among others, elements for drawing simple geometric shapes such as lines, rectangles, or circles. Furthermore, new controls are available that allow the languages and themes defined in the project to be clearly displayed and easily switched.
Additionally, all controls now support new properties that allow blinking animations to be configured with ease.
Modern UI 7.4
In VisiWin Modern UI projects, a new feature can now be used that enables the simultaneous display of multiple popover views.
In addition, data transmission between client and server has been extended: this can now optionally be encrypted—an improvement that also applies to Classic UI.
Server Manager
The Server Manager has been enhanced with a practical feature: projects on a connected target system can now be deleted directly.
Cross-Platform Server
The licensing for the Cross-Platform Server has been made more flexible and can also be handled via USB dongles.
Drivers
The CIP driver now additionally supports unsigned data types.
Structure variables can now also be used with the MQTT driver.
Furthermore, the driver for Siemens S7 controllers has been updated and now supports projects from the TIA Portal version 21.
