New VisiWin version 2025-1

With the recent release of VisiWin 7 Version 2025-1, INOSOFT is further expanding its product strategy for platform independence and usability. For example, the communication drivers for CoDeSys and MQTT are now also available for Linux, and various usability optimizations have been incorporated into the engineering system to further simplify project planning.

This installation version contains the following components:

Development environment (including Visual Studio integration) (New)
Runtime system 7.3 SP5 (New)
Runtime system 7.2 SP23 (New)

Development system:
The target device manager has been revised. It now checks compatibility with the target system before project transfer and allows direct access to the server manager. The VisiWin tools Project Comparison and Translation Manager can now be accessed directly from the IDE for open projects. The configuration of triggers and actions has been moved to a separate window. The selection dialog for the available functions now includes a search function, and tooltips display information about the available functions.

Web UI:
The password field during login is now masked. With the new LockSessionAction, a session can be locked and the login screen displayed. SVG-based icons are supported, and the FlexLayout control now offers the Gap property for even spacing. The distillation plant sample project has been extensively revised.

Modern UI & Server Manager:
The reference documentation has been updated. The autostart function can now also be activated centrally in the project view.

Web server:
The project view has been redesigned and equipped with an improved search function and various options for starting a project.

Drivers & Cross-Platform Server:
CoDeSys, Modbus, and MQTT drivers are now also available for Linux. The Siemens S7 driver now also supports projects based on TIA V20. There is a new licensing procedure for the Cross-Platform Server with central administration via the Server Manager. NOTE: MAC-bound license files can no longer be used for the Cross-Platform Server and must be replaced. If you have any questions, please contact our sales department (info@inosoft.com).
