INOSOFT GmbH expands its market presence in Switzerland: Following its long-standing shareholding, INOSOFT GmbH will acquire full ownership of INOSOFT AG in July 2026. The Swiss company will continue to operate as an independent entity and will in future be closely integrated with INOSOFT GmbH and INOSOFT Süd GmbH.
Thomas Helmbold, an experienced VisiWin expert, is taking over as CEO of INOSOFT AG in Switzerland. Going forward, he will be fully responsible for the Swiss market, maintain relationships with existing customers in Germany and Austria, and develop new business in the tri-border region. He is taking over management from founder Hanspeter Knutti, who has shaped the company since 1987 (as Powersoft AG until 2010). The acquisition marks the beginning of a new chapter in this long-standing success story. As part of its restructuring process, INOSOFT AG is relocating its headquarters from Flamatt to Thayngen.
Leadership Changes and Regional Synergies
Going forward, Thomas Helmbold will take over as CEO of INOSOFT AG. As Senior Business Development Manager at INOSOFT Süd GmbH since 2022, he brings many years of experience in the automation industry. Going forward, Helmbold will have full responsibility for the Swiss market, continue to serve existing customers in Germany and Austria, and actively drive new customer acquisition in order to optimize synergies.

With Thomas Helmbold, he is now handing the reins over to someone who will continue this work.
