Biometrically Secured Access with Visiwin + LogOnPlus

Particularly in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, the security of user administration is of paramount importance: Processes must be protected against unauthorized modifications and sensitive information shall only be made available to authorized persons. VisiWin and LogOnPlus (obion) provide a security capability by means of biometric procedures or the use of RFID readers.

Secured application access without password entry
VisiWin can determine users via the standard software LogOnPlus via an open interface and make use of the resultant advantages. Since the inclusion of support for biometric methods such as the fingerprint enabled unlocking “S-Key” RFID cards from Freevolt™, LogOnPlus and therefore VisiWin as well are now in a position to completely eliminate the need for the manual entry of passwords by securely identifying a person biometrically, thereby offering even more potential for time savings.

Via VisiWin and LogOnPlus it will also be possible to access user interfaces quickly and easily via iris scanner in future, and above all without the need for tools such as cards, chips or passwords.
