VisiWin Now Available In the FLECS Marketplace

Already largely common in the consumer market, app stores are now conquering the industrial market. Apps are executed in a container directly on a PLC or edge device either under Windows or Linux.

FLECS is a young start-up from the Allgäu region and operates a market place with apps for various sectors.

The apps are based on the Docker container technology. Unlike Docker however, installation and updating is more user friendly. Apps are installed from the web-based market place on the target computer with a few clicks. This is enabled by a special software previously installed on supported devices.

An exciting new technology and the reason why we jumped on the bandwagon early, offering the VisiWin Cross-Platform Runtime for download in the FLECS Marketplace.
