With our HMI software, we rely on open solutions based on standards thus offering you unlimited HMI possibilities. Nevertheless, machine manufacturers don’t have to dispense with the countless configurable system functions. Our HMI software is constantly further developed—a great many of VisiWin features originate from the close relationship with our customers: Your requirements and good ideas are always appreciated and, if possible, implemented in VisiWin.
The new VisiWin 7 version 2020-2 is now available for download in the Download area of our website. The setup includes the following components:
- IDE (Visual Studio integration included) (new)
- Runtime system 7.2 SP13 (new)
- Runtime system 7.1 SP1
- Runtime system 7.0 SP6
Along with the service packs, the setup includes a number of enhancements and new features:
With version 2020-2, our concept of open and modular HMI applications is further developed. The already familiar plugin concept, which allows to create modular HMI applications, is now available for Visual Studio too. The two key features “openness” und “modularization” are thus perfectly combined in VisiWin. This combination is particularly attractive for custom solutions in the serial production of machines.
Other new features of the 2020-2 version relate to web-based HMI applications. The VisiWin 7 Web UI Client now includes new user management functions and features for an easy binding of UI controls to any kind of data sources. The HTML5 designer integrated into the VisiWin 7 development environment has been extended by various usability enhancing features such as snapping of UI elements, snaplines and aligning several UI elements at once.
For distributed client-server solutions, for example in plant construction, VisiWin 7 now allows for an efficient transfer of HMI projects to different target systems. The new target device manager integrated into the development environment can connect to various target systems at the same time, transfer individual projects to the specified target devices in the network and control their execution.
The OPC UA server introduces with the 2020-1 version has also been optimized. An improved certificate management now allows to configure secure connections.
