The VisiWin 7 version 2018-1 service release is now available for download at our website (Download section). The setup includes the following components:
- Current VisiWin 7 IDE version
- Runtime version 7.2 SP3 (new)
- Runtime version 7.1 SP1
- Runtime version 7.0 SP5
For further details on the current setup version (e.g. system requirements and change history), please refer to the Documents folder on the installation CD (or the downloaded file). Along with the service packs, the installation includes a number of improvements and extensions:
- Bugfix for the issues with Windows security updates reported in January 2018
- Support for Visual Studio 2017
- Extensions and improvements to plugins (modular projects), e.g. default values for placeholders
- Improved WPF page designer, e.g. keyboard shortcuts for zooming in and out and easy adapter selection
- Text import and export via XLSX files
- Improvements to the new TrendChart and XYChart controls
