Intelligent Solutions for Mobile Operating Devices
It sounds paradoxical to make an HMI that is independent of location, because it is mobile, dependent on location again. But it actually makes a lot of sense.
A portable device with an HMI interface can be conveniently carried around the entire plant. But how do you get to the HMI page with the right information for the respective location?
Especially with the option of actively intervening in the system by clicking a button, you have to be on site to see what is being operated.
To prevent unwanted/unauthorized operation, VisiWin allows you to restrict certain operating functions or views that can only be accessed by reading in a QR code or RFID tag, for example.
Thanks to display in an HTML-compatible browser, mobile process visualization enables machine and production data to be displayed at the location of choice as required, or on a stationary or mobile basis on the office PC, notebook, smartphone or tablet.

It goes without saying that responsive design is also supported: Here, different views can be simulated and adapted during parameterization or programming using the graphical editor.
Platform-independence: VisiWin 7 server projects can be run and VisiWin 7 Web UI projects provided using the VisiWin 7 Cross-Platform Runtime on any Windows or Linux-based automation device.
With KeTops, KEBA offers stationary and mobile operating devices for the simple implementation of all possible visualization and operating tasks. These devices are supplied with the custom-tailored, native visualization solution VisiWin for KeTop - it is also possible to upgrade to the full version of VisiWin.
For wireless solutions KEBA has deve-loped a concept for any cases of unintentional leaving of the line of sight and the functionality of the emergency stop.
The wireless safety functions open up a wide range of possible applications, which of course also comply with conventional security standards.

This year once again saw numerous innovative products nominated by Computer & Automation, which were put to the vote among its readers – our mobile HMI received the most votes in the Operation & Monitoring category.
At the “Winners’ Dinner” in Munich, Stefan Niermann was delighted to accept the trophy for first place. A big thank you goes to the Computer & Automation team for the fantastic event.
But the biggest thank you, of course, goes to all those who voted for VisiWin. We are absolutely delighted and are proud of this place. The benchmark for us next year is now high – but we love to take up a challenge.
