For the first time OPC offers a universal and above all professionally accepted interface with the protocol level. OPC servers as well as OPC clients are optionally interchangeable. This is guaranteed by the OPC Foundation, and an appropriate certification, the Compliance Test.

OPC servers provide the opportunity to access an interface with any number of applications at the same time.

With operations running multiple clients can access the data. This is also possible across computer borders.

INOSOFT GmbH has since 1998 been an elective member of the OPC Foundation. Since 1999 OPC servers and OPC clients have been developed and tested in-house with INOSOFT.
