Tackle complex jobs simply | |

VisiWinNET Smart supports you with tackling your demands by an easy-to-learn and intuitively operable development system. See for yourself: the following pictures show screenshots of VisiWinNET Smart in practical use. |
All beginnings are difficult?
Not with VisiWinNET Smart. Project creation is supported by an intelligent assistant querying all necessary information, and creating the project following your specifications.
Step by step you allocate a project name, select a matching target device, configure its properties, and finally come up with an appropriate basic project. Then you leave the assistant to arrange the data access for your PLC and also import its variables. Finally, you make a selection from the many pre-arranged display pages (alarms, alarm history, system pages ...), and end up with a project that already has all fundamental functions on board.
Configuring systems and defining project data
An essential task in working with VisiWinNET Smart is to configure the existing systems of the VisiWinNET runtime system, and to feed them project-specific data.
For this, VisiWinNET Smart provides all systems in a clearly arranged project explorer. From here you access all configuration settings, and can open the editors for the project data such as variable or alarm definitions.
With the project data, too, VisiWinNET Smart presents its open side. As an example, all project definitions can be exported to Microsoft Excel to be edited. The subsequent import returns your finalized definitions to the project. You would prefer to adopt the variable definitions directly from your PLC program? With the established control systems this task is carried out by the VisiWinNET variable browser.
Designing visualization pages
Designing visualization pages is rather simple. The integrated graphic designer follows the WYSIWYG principle as known from e.g. Microsoft Powerpoint.
Simply select from the more than 40 visualization objects such as variable in and output, and place these on the displayed screen page. Functions such as positioning and scaling through mouse and keyboard are supported as well as collective allignment or adapting the size of the object. Through a large number of object properties display and function of the visualization objects can be individually adapted to the actual requirements.
Was that all there is?
Of course not. VisiWinNET Smart offers many more useful functions satisfying even extended requirements, making day-to-day work with the system easier.
An example is the graphic editor for printouts. The pages to be printed are simply designed with information on variable values, recipes or alarms, and at runtime come out of the connected printer at the touch of a button.
You need a script for a particular function or locig? No problem. The integrated code editor supports you with syntax accentuations and automatic completion when writing the commands in Visual Basic.
If something should not work as intended you will find the faulty definition with the help of the cross reference. Then you transfer the finalized project with VisiWinNET Smart to the target device through the network, and try the newly created surface at the machine.
